Fiorucci

The Italian label was founded in 1967 by Elio Fiorucci and was the first store in Milan to carry t-shirts and jeans. By the 1970s and 80s the New York store was one of the trendiest spots attracting celebrities and tourists alike. Fiorucci was one of the fore fathers of fashion globalization and he traveled around the world to find the latest trends to sell in his stores. He popularized camouflage prints, leopard prints and helped created the designer jean market. The company's iconic logo of two cherub angels was modeled after Raphael's famous paintings.
