Emmanuelle Khanh
Emmanuelle Khanh started her career in fashion as a model at both Givenchy and Balenciaga. In 1962 she joined model Christiane Baily to form the label Emma Christie. She was often called the French Mary Quant and she was known for her modern and youthful designs. In the 1960's she freelanced for companies such as Carlette in the USA, Cacharel, Missoni, Krizia, and others in Europe. She launched the Emmanuelle Khanh in 1971 and she was known for her large rimmed glasses.
