Bottega Veneta

Founded in 1966 by Michele Taddei, Bottega Veneta means “Venetian shop” and the company was started as an artisanal leather goods company whose craftsmans developed a leather-weaving technique, called "intrecciato" which is a signature of the brand. The no-logo handbags became world famous thanks to the quality of its craftsmanship and by the early 1980s, Bottega Veneta was a favorite of the international jet set.
