Navy blue boucle with black passementerie trim that creates a scallop like edge around the neckline, pockets, centre seam and cuffs. The jacket is slightly cropped and collarless with patch pockets at the hips. Cream silk french cuffs with gold tone interlocking CC metal buttons. Black buttons with centre gold lions heads on the jacket and skirt. The skirt is pencil shaped and wrap style. This is demure, timeless and an important piece of French fashion history. Haute Couture label with bolduc (style number) on back. Above couture label is a label that says "Rendre A K. D'Alessio", meaning return to Kitty D'Alessio. Handmade in France. The suit is in overall very good vintage condition. There is some light staining to the interior of the cream silk french cuffs - exterior is in very good condition.
