Carlos Falchi
Brazilian-born handbag and accessories designer, Falchi began his career in New York in the 1970s. Living and working in Greenwich Village his early clientele consisted mostly of rockers and jazz artists. His designs caught the eye of Geraldine Stutz of the Henri Bendel department store and they began to carry his pieces with worldwide success to follow shortly after. His patchwork pieces are often made using exotic skins such as python, alligator and ostrich, are soft and unstructured and brightly colored.
