Very smart Chanel Haute Couture pink and charcoal grey houndstooth tweed ensemble from the 1960s. The 7/8 length jacket features pink and black buttons with gold tone metal lions head centre details and bracelet length sleeves. Thick cotton jersey, collarless pale pink inner shirt with covered buttons and patch flap pockets at the bust. The high waisted, very slightly a-line pencil shape skirt matches the long jacket. The pieces are very chic worn together, but all can be worn separately. Navy blue silk lining. A great wool weight for fall and winter weather. The tweed is in very good vintage condition. The shirt has some small signs of wear, small holes throughout. Haute Couture label with bolduc (style number) on back. Handmade in France.
