A rare Hermès “Traité des Armes” Silk Scarf by Hugo Grygkar depicts a series of traditional fencing positions and techniques, with elegantly illustrated figures arranged around a top view of a cocked hat bearing the title Traité des Armes. Crossed swords, resembling two fencers in combat, frame the composition before transitioning into a solid, very dark charcoal-green border. Originally designed in 1951. 100% silk, made in France. Dry-cleaned. Excellent vintage condition.
