This Chanel Spring 2005 lightweight jacket reimagines the house’s iconic tweed with a delicate dose of sparkle. The richly textured black tweed is accented with small tonal sequins and thin ribbon horizontally woven throughout. Collarless with a single black top button closure. Buttons at neck and on cuffs are black metal and embellished with small black rhinestones around the perimeter. Small functional patch pockets at the hips. Finished with raw fringe trim at the neckline, cuffs and hem. This jacket transitions effortlessly from day to evening and pairs beautifully with everything from denim to silk. Interior is lined in black silk chiffon and interior hem is finished with a thin gunmetal chain. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France. Marked FR 46, fits like a US size 4. Worn by Linda Evangelista in the Spring 2005 runway show.
