Captivating skirt from Tom Ford’s Fall 2002 collection for Yves Saint Laurent. Crafted from a black fluid silk satin, the skirt features an exaggerated flounce at the front, cascading into asymmetric layers of ruffles that evoke the movement of flamenco dress with a modern edge. The drop waist is ruched and softly draped, hugging the figure before descending into a dramatic, high-low hemline. The skirt is finished with a centre back zipper and the bottom layer is a semi sheer black silk chiffon. Moves beautifully when walking or moving. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France. Fits like a US size 4.
