Oscar de la Renta dress and coat ensemble from the Pre-Fall 2017 collection. Both pieces are red, white and black knit wool in a mix of classic and enlarged/distorted all over houndstooth. The dress is sleeveless with a simple crew neckline and clean silhouette. The shape is inspired by 1960's dresses with the break at the waist, making it look like a matching top and skirt set. The matching coat is a statement piece in itself and sits open atop the dress. Both pieces are versatile day and evening wear depending on the styling. A strapless gown version on this set was shown in the pre fall 2017 presentation. Excellent vintage condition. Made in Italy. Marked size large.
